KLANGEXPERIMENTE - Die Magie der all-und-nicht-täglichen Dinge

As part of the exhibition Magic Eyes - Erwin Stache

Workshop

Together we want to discover small and large objects that have it all. There's an old telephone there. There are metal rods sticking up and lettered signs are lying around everywhere. Does everything look very ordinary at first? It just seems so! Because these objects have been modified so that they make sounds and noises. Sometimes it's enough to step in front of one of these objects, sometimes you have to press, switch and maneuver until you hear something: It's humming and rattling and whistling and hissing all at once. And the longer you play on them, you notice that the machines themselves become small, bizarre creatures that go about their daily sound work and seem to communicate with each other. The result is a bizarre ensemble in which technology, sound, humor and experimentation are combined.

As part of the Radio Art Zone residency.
