In this program, Béatrice Rauchs explores the richness and depth of music through the lens of the small forms. From Robert Schumann to Helen Buchholtz, from Johannes Brahms to Tatsiana Zelianko, from Clara Schumann to Nigji Sanges, we navigate through centuries of music-making, discovering how these composers used the small forms to capture feelings as vast as the human soul itself.
With this program, the pianist reveals the small form's extraordinary ability to communicate deep and complex emotions in a small space. Discover this music in miniature through minuets, intermezzos, romances or preludes and let yourself be carried away by the great emotions it can convey.
