Join us every Sunday morning for a vibrant immersion into the world of Earthbound. Worms, Soil, Decay. Stroll through our spaces, discover the exhibition at your own pace, and engage in a diverse program of activities designed for all ages: young and old, art enthusiasts, science curious, or ecology passionate.

Creative workshops, guided tours, cross-disciplinary perspectives, yoga sessions, vegetable markets, and flea markets... Each Sunday offers a new way to resonate with the themes of the exhibition: soils, decomposition, earthworms, and our connection to the underground world. A Sunday at Bridderhaus is an opportunity to wander, discover, and enjoy a moment of calm and sharing.

Experience the unique atmosphere of our inner courtyard when the weather permits. It's the perfect spot to relax, sip a coffee, savor a carrot cake, and enjoy a pleasant time with family or friends in a laid-back and friendly ambiance.

9:00 - 12:00 | Root Market

As part of the Earthbound. Worms, Soil, Decay project, CIGL Esch invites you to discover a root market on Sunday in the inner courtyard of Bridderhaus in Esch-sur-Alzette.This convivial moment is a great opportunity to meet the locals, neighbors, nature enthusiasts, and curious people, exchange ideas, explore, and stock up on seasonal products. On the program: A market with vegetables and plants, focusing on roots: Carrots, beetroots, and from August, potatoes.A selection of small plants for your garden or balcony, ready to be adopted.Homemade lacto-fermentation jars: A healthy and natural way to preserve vegetables and discover new flavors.

CIGL Esch, a local organization engaged in solidarity economy and the environment, supports professional integration projects while promoting short supply chains, land work, and social connections.

What landscapes make up our bodies?

As an open-ended conclusion to her residency at the Bridderhaus, designer and artist Céline Pelcé invites you to a moment of sensory interaction with soil, earth, plants, and their flavors.

This morning event will offer a chance to discover the ideas, materials, and reflections developed during her residency, conceived in connection with the Earthbound. Worms, Soil, Decay cycle, curated by the duo d-o-t-s (Laura Drouet / Olivier Lacrouts).

This gathering invites participants to engage with the environment, to share, and to explore what makes up our bodies — what in us is river, what is humus, what is earth.

Explore the Earthbound. Worms, Soil, Decay exhibition, which highlights the essential role of earthworms and soil in life on Earth and the threats they face due to the current ecological crisis. Take this guided tour to learn more about these environmental issues and discover the unique artistic approaches of each creator. An art mediator will be on hand to answer your questions and share information about the exhibition and the artists.

Every Sunday morning, MESA offers coffee, tea, and carrot cake in a warm atmosphere — and, on sunny days, on the terrace of the Bridderhaus.
