During her artist residency at the Bridderhaus, Kristina Schuldt is exploring the theme of dreams in depth, working with graphite and oil paint on paper. Here, the focus suddenly shifts more strongly inwards.

Kristina Schuldt (born in Moscow in 1982, raised in Neubrandenburg) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts/Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig from 2002 to 2009. From 2010 to 2012, she was a master student under Neo Rauch. Since 2014, Kristina Schuldt has been represented by Galerie EIGEN + ART Leipzig/Berlin. She lives and works in Leipzig.

Kristina Schuldt's works have been exhibited in solo shows both nationally and internationally, including at the Mönchehaus Museum in Goslar, Germany; the Drents Museum in Assen, Netherlands, and the Museum für junge Kunst in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany. She has also participated in numerous group exhibitions at venues including the Kunsthalle Zürich, Switzerland; the Kunstmuseum Bonn, Germany; the Deichtorhallen in Hamburg, Germany, and the Museum Wiesbaden, Germany.
