Residents

Alexandra Uppman will finalise works for her solo exhibition Anvil Dust at the Escher Theater. In a second phase, she will pursue research on wild bees and their habitats, while dedicating time to experimentation, material testing and the further development of her artistic practice.

The residency will focus on the continuation of a new series of paintings exploring themes of transformation, instability and metamorphosis with the possible development of an original musical score. Angela Fette also envisions the residency as an opportunity to further expand her interdisciplinary practice by creating new paintings, poems and music in dialogue with one another.
