Residents

The residency will focus on the continuation of a new series of paintings exploring themes of transformation, instability and metamorphosis ("shaking structures", "things falling out of the frame"), with the possible development of an original musical score. Angela Fette also envisions the residency as an opportunity to further expand her interdisciplinary practice by creating new paintings, poems and music in dialogue with one another.

The artist will explore monotype, woodcut and ceramics, drawing inspiration from the atmosphere in Esch and whatever emerges on site. Her residency will provide space for sketches, objects and new ideas that arise through experimentation, observation and an intuitive creative process.
