The artist's objective for the residency at Bridderhaus will focus on the themes of precarious common goods, social control and the quest for a form of romantic salvation. The residency will be dedicated to a period of research and reflection, while also giving rise to the creation of small paintings, drawings, texts and the recording of musical pieces.

During the residency, a new series will be developed around the theme of memory and forgetting. Memories overlap, black areas dominate the image, perforations reveal the base. This premise opens up a pictorial adventure, where words engraved in blue stone become stones of memory.

The residency will enable the artist to continue a series of works already begun, deepening his research into distorted forms, raw gestures and sculptural tensions, including through the creation of a concrete bas-relief designed as a rebus, exploring repair, alteration and balance.
