Salon Helen Buchholtz 2026
On 14 and 15 November 2026, Helen Buchholtz’s Salon takes a more intimate form: a weekend, two concerts, an invitation to rediscover the spirit of the Salon during a musical interlude.
This special edition already announces the big event of 2027, which will mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Helen Buchholtz. The Salon will then return to its usual format for an exceptional celebration dedicated to the world of Helen Buchholtz, whose work will resonate with those of other composers, weaving bridges between eras, sensibilities and aesthetics.
While waiting for this anniversary year, this Interlude opens a musical parenthesis: a suspended moment to reconnect with the spirit of the Salon and let glimpse the promises of the 2027 edition.

Salon Next Gen is a concert series highlighting Luxembourg's most promising young classical singers. In an intimate setting, it offers a platform for emerging vocal artists at the beginning of their careers.
The series that will continue in 2027 presents fresh voices and personal interpretations of art song and Lied repertoire, inviting audiences to discover up close the next generation of Luxembourg's singers and interpreters.

15.11.2026 > 17:00 : Rebecca Clarke – 140 years, a conversation renewed
To celebrate the 140th anniversary of an outstanding composer: A chamber music journey through Rebecca Clarke's world, from the Viola Sonata to songs and instrumental works for voice, piano, and violin, including Morpheus, Midsummer Moon, and Dumka.
Rebecca Clarke (1886–1979) was a pioneering British composer and a distinguished violist whose music is marked by refined harmonic language, lyrical intensity, and a finely shaded sense of colour. In an era that offered few opportunities to women, she forged an artistic voice of striking independence, subtlety, and emotional depth.
